Meet The Specialists
Dr. Kristen Gulliver, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, earned her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University, with an emphasis on Child & Adolescent psychology and Neuropsychology. She received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Connecticut. Dr. Gulliver completed her PreDoctoral internship at Nova Southeastern University’s Psychology Service Center, in the School-Related Psychological Assessments and Clinical Interventions (SPACI) Clinic.
Dr. Gulliver specializes in the treatment of adolescents and young adults dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, suicidal ideation, self-harm, and emotion dysregulation. She uses empathy, humor, and authenticity to help build a collaborative therapeutic relationship and facilitate growth and change in her clients. Dr. Gulliver’s treatment approach individualizes research-based interventions to meet the needs of each client, incorporating techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy modalities.
Outside of work, Dr. Gulliver enjoys the performing arts, attending plays, and spending time with her family and friends.
