Dr. Arleen Lanci, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist,  received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University at Albany, State University of New York and her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Child Care and Family Studies from Stony Brook University, State University of New York. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Kennedy Krieger Institute, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

Most of Dr. Lanci’s clinical and applied work has focused on the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents with autism, developmental delays, and behavioral difficulties. She has worked with children, adolescents, and young adults, across various settings including residential facilities, therapeutic day programs, schools, university-affiliated outpatient clinics, and hospitals. She approaches therapy from a behavioral framework and, as a result, treatment tends to be goal-directed and data-driven.  She individualizes research-supported assessments and interventions to meet the needs of each child and their family. Her past research focused on reinforcer assessment and functional behavioral analysis of challenging behavior.

In her free time, she enjoys biking, hiking, visiting national parks, and spending time with her family and friends.
