Meet The Specialists

Brenda Wiley, Ph.D.

Dr. Brenda Wiley received her Ph.D. in School Psychology from Texas A&M University in College Station. Dr. Wiley completed her Predoctoral Fellowship at Providence St. John’s Child and Family Development Center in Santa Monica, California, where she provided therapy to children and adolescents and worked in the Los Angeles School District. She is also a registered psychologist in the College of  Psychologists and Behavioral Analysts of Ontario. Dr. Wiley also is able to provide services in Spanish for Spanish-speaking families. 

Dr. Wiley has worked in a variety of settings, including: a community mental health center, private practice, schools, a children’s hospital, and an outpatient pediatric therapy center. She has extensive training in psychodiagnostic  and psychoeducational assessments, including expertise evaluating Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), learning disabilities, and providing diagnostic differentiation on various emotional and behavioral conditions.

Dr. Wiley works with children, adolescents, and families experiencing a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, emotion dysregulation, OCD, ADHD, and perfectionism. Her treatment approach is predominantly based in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, with elements of Behavior Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Interpersonal Therapy. She focuses on building a safe and warm atmosphere for clients using empathy, collaboration, and genuine positive regard.
