Katherine Karenkopf is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois, dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s transitions and challenges. She graduated with a Master’s in Social Work from Boston College and has worked in various community agencies, gaining valuable experience in supporting clients through diverse challenges.
Katherine’s approach to therapy is client-centered, evidence-based, and empathetic. She is committed to understanding her clients as individuals and within the context of their environment. Her areas of specialization include trauma-related disorders, Anxiety, Depression, life transitions, Grief, social skill building, and familial conflict.
Katherine strives to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can feel understood and supported. Katherine believes that her role as a therapist is that of a passenger on your journey. A passenger to offer support, but you are the driver in control of the destination. Outside of the office, Katherine loves to read, journal, draw, and spend time with her husband, Bobby, and their Mini Aussie, Rocket!
