Meet The Specialists
Hannah Gordon, Licensed Social Worker, received both her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and her Master’s in Social Work from Lewis University. Hannah has experience working as a behavior technician for children and teens (ages 3-18) with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), supported unhoused families needing permanent housing in DuPage County through PADS, and interned as a case manager for the Will County Problem-Solving Courts, where she worked with adults ages 18 and up in navigating criminal justice involvement and substance use challenges.
She is passionate about working with individuals who face challenges related to defiance, personality disorders, and substance abuse, as she believes in the power of therapeutic connection to promote change and resilience. Additionally, she is dedicated to supporting individuals of all ages on the autism spectrum as well as children or teens struggling with anxiety, depression, anger management, ADHD, OCD, addiction, personality disorders, LGBTQ+ concerns, life changes, family and relationship struggles, and trauma by tailoring interventions to meet their unique strengths and needs while promoting inclusion and personal growth.
Hannah uses a wide range of therapeutic techniques involving cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), internal family systems (IFS) and Person-in-Environment (PIE). She strives to find the best approach for each individual.
Hannah’s mission is to create a safe, and supportive environment where individuals feel seen, heard, and valued. She believes that healing and personal growth begin when people are met with compassion and dignity, and it is her purpose to walk alongside her clients as they navigate life’s challenges, rediscover their strengths, and realize their full potential.
Outside of her professional life, Hannah enjoys reading mystery books and poetry, taking nature walks, buying plants to add to her collection and spending time with her three dogs!
