Meet The Specialists
Lauren Puetz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received her master’s degree from the University of Chicago’s Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice. For the first ten years of her career, Lauren worked as a school social worker within the public school system serving youth ages three through eighteen years and collaborating closely with parents, teachers, and administrators. Lauren has experience with a broad range of youth’s needs in areas including anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, executive functioning, social communication, LGBTQ+ identity, and adjustment to life changes. Some therapy techniques Lauren draws from include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Lauren uses her empathic, strengths-focused style to establish a trusting, non-judgmental rapport with her clients. She values getting to know each client individually and tailoring approaches to best meet their needs. In her free time, Lauren enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
