Monica Servin, M.A.

Monica is currently completing her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Adler University, where she also earned her Master’s in Clinical Psychology. Monica has a strong background working in both private practice and community mental health, which has equipped her with the skills to effectively support individuals from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Monica is particularly interested in working with children with autism, children, teenagers, and young adults. Monica’s experience includes helping clients navigate concerns related to anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, autism spectrum disorder, anger issues, family conflict, parenting challenges, and stress.

Creating an affirming space for LGBTQ+ individuals is a core passion for Monica. Believing in a flexible and integrative approach to therapy, Monica ensures each session is tailored to each clients’ unique needs. Drawing from Adlerian theory and incorporating evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Monica helps clients explore their personal strengths, develop meaningful hobbies, and integrate active lifestyles for overall well-being. With calm and positive demeanor, Monica is dedicated to fostering a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone.

During her free time, Monica enjoys going to the gym, biking, hiking, and golfing. She also enjoys reading both fiction and self-development books. Monica has a passion for cars, movies, and music and values the importance of social connection. Monica enjoys building meaningful memories with her partner, family, and friends.
