Danielle Burnette, LSW, LMSW

Danielle Burnette, LSW, LMSW, is a Licensed Master Social Worker with over 8 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and a Master’s in Social Work from New York University. Danielle is licensed in New York and Illinois and has a Professional Educator License with a K–12 School Social Work Endorsement in both states. Her background includes work in schools, nonprofits, and the juvenile justice system, giving her deep insight into the challenges facing young people and the families who support them.

Navigating adolescence and young adulthood can be overwhelming, especially when anxiety, depression, trauma, or significant life transitions get in the way. Danielle specializes in helping adolescents and young adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, school refusal, identity development, and life transitions. She also partners with parents and caregivers to help them understand and support their child’s emotional needs while improving communication and connection within the family system.

She creates a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard and empowered. Using a personalized approach that integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, social skills training, and trauma-informed care, Danielle helps clients develop insight, emotional regulation skills, and lasting confidence. Whether working with a young person one-on-one or collaborating with families, Danielle is committed to walking alongside her clients with empathy, expertise, and a belief in their ability to grow at their own pace and in their own way.
