Meet The Specialists
Dr. Glen Veed, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln with a Child and Family specialization. While he specializes in working with adolescents, he has also worked extensively with children and their families as well as adults. He has experience with a variety of presenting complaints, including disruptive groups for children and behavior, social skills, school difficulties, school refusal, pain, anxiety, OCD, trauma, depression, brain injury and sexual behavior problems. In addition, Dr. Veed routinely conducts diagnostic, intellectual and neuropsychological assessments with children, adolescents and adults and has extensive experience in synthesizing how a client’s raw neuropsychological abilities impact their emotional functioning day-to-day. He has worked in multiple settings, including outpatient clinics, residential facilities, hospitals and primary care centers. Dr. Veed strongly believes in using psychological interventions that are supported by solid research evidence. He also advocates tracking client outcomes so that observable progress can be demonstrated and shared with families. When not working, Dr. Veed enjoys baseball, reading, theatre, film, spending time with family and friends, and exploring all the dining and entertainment Chicagoland has to offer!
